We've added a new feature to the Good Training site. The site now has it's own custom search provider. A search provider is something that integrates into Internet Explorer v7 or FireFox v2 that allows you to search a website from anywhere. Once you add this search provider to your browser, you'll be able to search the Good Training site from anywhere, without even navigating to the Good Training site first. Just open up a browser window (or use some already open browser window), type in what you're searching for and you'll get a list of matches on the Good Training website. This makes it even easier to search for an answer about SalesLogix and get even more out of the Good Training site!
Here's How it Works
1) When you navigate to the Good Training site, you'll notice the button next to the search bar turns orange. This means it has detected the new Good Training search provider:
Notice the orange button on the far right-side of the window. You can click it and get a drop down which will include a menu option to install the search provider. If you click the down arrow, go to Add Search Provider, and then select "Good Training Search" from the menu to add it, as follows:
Once you select that from the menu, you'll get a dialog prompting you about installing the search provider.

Now that you've added the Good Training Search Provider to your IE7 or FireFox2 browser, you can simply select it at anytime and enter a term to search for, without going to the Good Training site first.

One thing to mention, adding this provider does not actually install anything on your computer, it just add's a bit of XML to your browser so it knows how to find the search capabilities of the Good Training site. If you never use it there's no harm in adding it - but we think that you'll find this to be a useful addition to the Good Training site and make the information you need even more accessible.
Good searching!
