Worth the Investment?
Well, that depends but many companies are beginning to find value in integrating their CRM system with their ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. If your company has been considering integrating SalesLogix your ERP I found an article that is worth reading. The article is published in CRM Magazine and highlights some of the pros of an integration along with key areas to evaluate as you plan an integration between CRM and ERP. As I have mentioned in previous posts Sage Software is building a custom integration between SalesLogix and MAS 500 that should ease the pain that building an integration from scratch can cause. Last I heard is that this integration will be going into beta sometime in December 2007, I'll keep you posted as I receive more information.

I am happy to say I love my job! Everyday there is a new challenge and something new to learn, it keeps things interesting. I was very happy when we started Good Training because it gave me an opportunity to help people and share knowledge.
Outside of the office I enjoy being active. When weather permits you may catch me riding my bike around the lakes of Minneapolis or hiking in Northern Minnesota. In the winter I get out snowboarding as much as possible and I always try to take a trip to the mountains. I made it out to Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT at the end of February 2008 and it was a fantastic time! Year round I participate in dance and yoga classes to mix things up.
I love watching movies and you could say I may have seen too many. :) I also have a passion for reading - if I find a good book it can consume all of my free time.
