Missing Your Send SLX Button in Your Outlook Email?

Something simple you can try.

Have you created an email that you would like to record to history in SalesLogix only to find the Send SLX button is missing?  It's not a huge deal but it is a pain to have to go to your Sent Items folder and drag and drop the email into history.  For those of you who are new to SalesLogix there are simple steps you can take to rememdy this problem:

  1. At the top of your email on the Toolbar chose Tools, Customize (note: your cursor needs to be in the body of the email for Customize to be an option)
  2. In the Customize dialog box there is a Toolbars tab, chose this tab
  3. Scroll through your Toolbars option until you find SalesLogix
  4. Check the box next to SalesLogix*
  5. Chose Close

The Send SLX button should now appear in your Outlook email.  Send your email and it will automatically copy to history.

*If you go to customize your Toolbars and you find that the box is already checked for SalesLogix you may need to speak with your System Administrator or IT staff.

About Brianna Tinjum

I am happy to say I love my job! Everyday there is a new challenge and something new to learn, it keeps things interesting. I was very happy when we started Good Training because it gave me an opportunity to help people and share knowledge. Outside of the office I enjoy being active. When weather permits you may catch me riding my bike around the lakes of Minneapolis or hiking in Northern Minnesota. In the winter I get out snowboarding as much as possible and I always try to take a trip to the mountains. I made it out to Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT at the end of February 2008 and it was a fantastic time! Year round I participate in dance and yoga classes to mix things up. I love watching movies and you could say I may have seen too many. :) I also have a passion for reading - if I find a good book it can consume all of my free time.
