The Leads area was a new addition in SalesLogix v7.0, and is a great tool for keeping your database clean. With this feature you can keep potential customers separate from actual customers.
This workshop will focus on Managing Lead Qualifying questions, creating new individual leads, qualifying that lead and converting the lead into a New Contact in the database.
Upon completion of this workshop the user will understand how to create a lead, and how to determine when a lead can be converted into a Contact based on unique company qualifying specifications. A separate Leads area in the database allows the user to keep their database clutter free by not converting unqualified Leads into Contacts.
