In SalesLogix an Opportunity is a potential sale to an account. The ability to accurately enter and track Opportunities can mean the success or failure of a sale. Opportunities enable sales people and sales managers to collect, analyze, forecast and report on a variety of information related to sales deal such as:
- Probability of close
- Potential revenue
- Days in pipeline
- Estimated and actual close date
This workshop will focus on establishing Opportunity Defaults and recommended required fields while creating a new Opportunity.
Upon completion of this workshop the user will be able to accurately create Opportunities. The user will also have advanced knowledge in creating Opportunity Defaults and establishing recommended required fields when entering an Opportunity.
