Unlike standard groups that are based on a set of conditions, ad-hoc groups contain records that are static. The accounts, contacts, or opportunities remain the same unless you edit the group. Ad-hoc groups are useful for many reasons, for example during a Mail Merge an ad-hoc group is created for failed merges to identify the contacts that failed and allow you to correct the error.
This Workshop will show the user how to create a group of ad-hoc contacts and send an email using the blind copy feature.
Upon completion of this Workshop the user will have the ability to create ad-hoc contact groups. This added skill will give the user more ease in sales and marketing efforts.
