If you receive an error, you are not alone...
A topic came up on slxdeveloper.com that I thought I should share with the Good Training community. It seems that sometimes an error message is generated after upgrading a SalesLogix v6.2 database to SalesLogix v7.5 Web. After following the instructions for the upgrade there is an option to import leads but this returns the error, "Import configuration not found for the entity ILead."
The fix for this can be completed in 2 steps:
- Restore a SalesLogix v7.5 eval database. Use the Virtual File System Explorer and browse to the VFS\Configuration\Global folder and copy the files from the Global folder to a temporary folder.
- Open the upgraded database and use the VFS and browse to the Global folder and add the following files: ImportConfigurations.xml, MergeConfigurations.xml, and PotentialMatchConfiguration.xml.
You can also attempt to restore the manifest from the DVD, which should work, but this solution also seems to correct the issue.
