Some dos and don'ts.
There are so many ways to get in contact with people these days - phone (landline and cell), email, text message, IM, social networks, etc. - that it would seem as though getting in contact with a prospect would be easy. Often it is not. The first step is to figure out which form of communication your prospect prefers. I am an email kind of gal myself, followed closely by text messages. After you have communication preference established, you should keep in mind these dos and don'ts from an article I read which was published by Miller Heiman. The suggestions are basic but they bear repeating.
