Hi

When we go to a tradeshow, we enter new contacts/accounts with a Leadsource for the show.  The salespeople want to see a group of their leads, but at the Account level so they can see all that is going on with the whole account without having to click back and forth between the contact and Account level.  Is there a way to make Leadsource accessible for creating a group at the Account level?  Or is there a way you can turn a group at the Contact level into a group at the Account level easily?  Not all of the same options are available at each level for creating a query.

    You can join to the leadsource table at the account level: Account.Leadsourceid to Leadsource.Leadsourceid

Yes, go to Lookup | Account | Query Builder.

Click the ContactID in the right pane, select Create Local Join, select Contact LeadSource in the drop down, and select ContactID as the ID.

Now, when you press OK - you will find the Contact Lead Source (and the lead source table) now available for selection.

You can pretty much join anything to anything via this Local Join. SLX doesn't display all possible combinations simple because the list would be too wieldy to use.
