I had several accounts linked to an account that was merged,  one as the parent.  That link is now gone for some reason. 

What does the Merge Records do concerning links to other accounts in the parent/child relationships?

If the Primary Record has an existing Parent linked, it will retain this linked account and delete the merge account and any links.

If the Primary Record does not have an existing parent, but the merge record does, the parent will pick the parent account during the merge.
