Our company has just recently implemented SalesLogix - so there are still many things we need to learn.
One thing we have been unable to figure out is the following:
We use Web v7.5, which links to our Outlook application (but do not have Outlook2CRM in place).
Our users really like the Send SLX button that appears with each email message; it is a real easy way to record their emails into a Contact's history.
And when there is an attachment to the e-mail - the user is prompted whether they want to include the attachment in History or not. Fine.
We say, yes, we'd like the attachment included; but when we look at the email in the History of the Contact - the name of the attached file is indicated - but that's it. It is not a link; and does not show up in the Attachments section - like I would assume.
The only way we've found to include the attachment is to load it seperately - which our users think is rediculous and refuse to do.
Are we doing something wrong?
