Remote changes not applied to Network

    Hi,

A remote user has created an account. He synchronized, 3 TER files have been created in his outfiles folder. When i tried to sync thru sync server, those 3 files are copied into infiles\rejected folder. And the changes are not applied to production.

So what i did is i copied those 3 files which r there in rejected folder and copied into infiles folder. After syncing an error has been written in syncerrors.txt "Cannot create a file which already exists"

So please advice me on this.

    Regards,

    Sujatha

    Hi Sujatha,

Does the same error occur if you cut and paste the files out of the Rejected folder? At a guess I would assume SalesLogix is saying that the 3 files already exist within the rejected folder...?

The first thing to check is the remote users sitecode and keybase code from the TEF files, Do they match the host settings for that user?

So the sitcode is different and not the keybase code? If the sitcode is different then I can only assume someone has attached an old remote database to the remote? if thats the case, then you will need to recut a new remotedb.

If it is the keybase code and the remote is showing a higher value than the host then you can simply login to the Administrator - Users Profile - Sync - Right Mouse Click on the Keybase code value and select Increment.

However, if the remote is showing a lower Keybase code than the host then you will need to cut a new remote db.
