We set many contacts' status to Inactive rather than deleting them from our database for various reasons.  The problem is that when I click to send email from the Account level, I'm offered a list of contacts to choose from, including inactive contacts.  How can I make the email list only show active contacts?

Unfortunately, you cannot - the status has no bearing on whether you "see" these people in the list (I'm not entirely use DoNotSolicit does either, would need to test that??).

I'm fairly sure, however, that that form/list etc. is not hard-coded - so it may be possible to change if you speak with your BP.

Thanks.  Unfortunately it also seems that setting the contact to "Do not email" also does not stop it from popping up in the email list. I'm guessing that field is only useful in the mail merge function, or when used in the query.
