Who has used the Campaign Process in SLX? I have used the help screen, but need a more a bit more explanation.

Our company wants to know how successfull our campaigns are and that everyone was contacted and, of course, the final results as to how many opportunities were closed due to a sale. We are planning to send a letter, then a follow-up call, then an e-mail, then 2nd letter, 2nd e-mail and contact via visit or phone call.
