We just imported products with pricing and other industry specific info into SLX. When users try to add the product to an opportunity the products do nothing. We can manually re-enter the price, select default in product managment and the product will then load to opportunities. Are we missing a field on the import that need to have information, or are we missing a step.

 Any help would be great.

 Sorry for all the questions, but the company is commiting to using SLX and only a few of us have a knowledge base to get it going.

It certainly sounds like you are missing data and/or steps but unfortunately, this is not really the forum to discuss this within. Do you have a business partner you can call ??

Importing into products (whilst definitely possible) isn't something to be considered lightly as it's very easy to miss items/data and, as you found out, the net result is a system that doesn't work.

BTW You can use slxprofiler.exe to find out what's going on in the background (you'll find it in the program files\slx folder) and perhaps that will help to discover what the difference is (use the Eval database for comparison).
