    Saleslogix Teams

We have our Saleslogix configured to use teams so each user only sees the accounts for the teams the user is on. Is there any way to grant access to all read access to all accounts without puting all users on all teams? Any suggestions would be appriciated.

    Hi,

No,if your using teams you would have to add the user to all teams. However, you could just set all the accounts to be owned by everyone which would then allow all users to view all accounts.

Add a new team, give it a profile of ReadOnly. Add all the users to this team. Then, add this team to any other team (teams within teams!) and they will then get R/O Access. Then, you only have to manage one team of users.

    Re: Saleslogix Teams

We are brand new owners of SLX Web 7.5 and I believe are getting conflicting advice from our partner.  At issue is Account ownership via teams.  We have 100 accounts owned by 10 different teams.  Each team has R/W access to the account they own.  We'd like to have everybody have R/O access to 100 accounts but only have R/W access to the accounts they "own."  Does the methodology described by Mike solve this issue?  I guess a user would be defined in a R/W team on an account as well as defined in a R/O team on the same account.  Any guidance would be appreciated!!!!!
