Is it possible to grant r/o access that is limited to specific sections of data?  For example we would like to have a team have R/W access to their data and others that have R/O access to the account landing page for the before mentioned teams account..  This would allow others to know to whom an account is tied but not see the underlying data or activity.

You can certainly give access to records by Team Security.

If add all of your users to a team, you can give certain users or Depts R/O access, while giving other users or Depts R/W access.

This can be different for each team.
