During the “SpeedSearch Is Not Just For Support Tickets Anymore” demo I was unclear about the function of the Result Used button. It seemed Dale said that the “Result Used” button when clicked will cause that record to hold a higher relevance score when displayed as a result in the future. Can someone verify that this is the correct purpose of the result used button and the way that the Relevance score works? If this is the case maybe someone could further explain how that relevance figure is calculated since records which have never been used can still hold a relevance of 100%? This understanding will help us to guide in users making use of these fields and functions.
Thanks for your input.
