Contact process - what happens when a user is retired

    Hi

I set up a Contact Process in the Architect that includes sending email at various intervals, including up to a year following the process being attached to the contact.  The email is set to be sent from the User Who Assigned the Process.  The person who was that user is no longer with the company.  What happens to the future email to be sent over the next year?  Is there something that will trigger it to be sent from someone else if we retire the user?  Will it do that to future events as well as ones already scheduled?

Previously when we had another user who left rather than formally retire the username, since we had enough licenses we simply transferred all the current activities to others and left the username active in the system.  The problem was that certain processes already scheduled, but somewhere in the middle later kept scheduling new activities for this person.  (The advantage however was that I could log in as this former user and make changes to the history where the database needed some cleaning up.)

    Thanks,

    Kim
