    Groups by Association

I am trying to create specific customer groups (retailers) based on which distributor they use.  These will be used for telemarketing campaigns specific to the distributors' product lists.

I have associated the retailer as a 'customer' of the distributor, and associated the distributor as a 'distributor' of the customer at the account level.

However, I cannot figure out how to make a contact group, for example, of all retailers serviced by a specific distributor so that we can assign a contact process, do an email blast, etc.

Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.

    Hi Tonya,

Create a join from your contact group: Contact.Accountid Inner Join Association.ToID

From there you can use the 'Forwardrelation' and 'Backwardrelation' fields to pick out the 'Customer' and 'Distributor' values

Drop me an email and I can send you a print screen if that would help
